About Pamella Chu (Doctor of Chiropractic) PDF Print E-mail

Pamella ChuPamella graduated in 2004 from University of Glamorgan with a first class (hons) degree in BSc Chiropractic. Following her pre-registration training year Pamella then obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2006.

Pamella has since gained experience working in a number of clinics in Scotland including Inverness, Stornoway, Edinburgh and the Borders. Pamella set up Borders Chiropractic in November 2006 and then in 2008 together with her friend and colleague Alison Button took over City Chiropractic from Steve Scott ( Doctor of Chiropractic). Pamella now splits her time between the 2 clinics.

 

Pamella is particularly interested in Sports Chiropractic and Acupuncture/dry needling. Since graduating, Pamella has completed a Post Graduate qualification in Sports Science Chiropractic (ICSSD) in 2006 and has also attended several courses in dry needling and acupuncture and is currently working towards a MSc in Western Acupuncture. Pamella frequently uses acupuncture in conjunction with Chiropractic treatment. Pamella has also attended a variety of Continual Professional Development (CPD) courses in practical podiatric mechanics, Kinesiotaping, Neuoro-Impulse Protocol(NIP) and Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT).

British Chiropractic AssociationPamella is General Chiropractic Council (GCC) Registered, and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and British Chiropractic Sports Council (BCSC). Pamella is also a member of the British Medical Acupuncture society (BMAS). Pamella is AXA PPP and BUPA recognised.
